Intuitive Painting and Meditation Weekend

The weekend aims to provide a supportive space to move from the surface of our lives to an inward focus. Intuitive painting ‘art as meditation’ draws us into the present moment and into the stillness that lies beyond thought, busyness and changing circumstances. Besides the inspiration and pleasure that colourful self-expression brings, this approach increases the

ching on creativity and group sharing.

Intuitive painting sessions will connect you to your own flow of colours and images that bring insight and healing. Your work will be as unique as you are, what is natural and beautiful within you will be expressed as you let go and allow your creativity to flow.

We will paint: On easels in the large sunroom at the back of the house, or in the adjoining kitchen.

Venue: The Coach House, a large comfortable house with lovely garden, close to the picturesque village of Inistioge, the River Noore & Woodstock Park.

Accommodation: 4 large bedrooms, all of which can sleep 2 people. I will not sleep at the Mill house.

Arrivals: You can arrive from 4 p.m. Friday afternoon. The first session will be at 17h30, followed by dinner together. We will finish at the end of Sunday afternoon.

Art materials that I provide & that are included in price:

Gouache paint in all colours for your refills (I don’t have individual pots for 6 people) water pots
200g paper in sizes 70cms x 50 cms and 1m x 70 cms.
Use of 10 metal stools/ 1 painting table
Glue

Art materials that you need to bring with you:

your own easel, paints in pots, brushes and palettes, rags, (plastic & not glass)
a board measuring 110cms x 80cms to pin or tape paper on to,
a large plastic sheet to put under your painting space, small table/stool for your paints.
Indoor shoes.
